Of Course I'm Not Dead (527 days since Judgement Day)

I know, you probably thought I’d disappeared. But no, I am here and am going to dispel some rumours that have been circulating about my whereabouts these last few months. Let’s get this clear, yes I did remove myself from the Brethren since I was called out rightly on my appalling judgement over the building. I came back for a while before I seemingly disappeared. But that’s because I didn’t feel worthy, so I decided to go travelling. And I had such a fantastic time that I just don’t have enough space to describe how amazing it all was. So you see, that stuff about me being gagged and bound in the Shed of Disappointment is all wrong; I wasn’t held in a cold, cramped space that smelled of Brother Malcolm’s cuisine. I didn’t sit in the dark on my own feeling like I was living through my own personal nightmare. And that bedraggled, unkempt man seen being led round the back of the sanctuary by a couple of brothers wasn’t me, although that didn’t happen either.

No, Brother Matthew didn’t use me as his own personal punching bag. In fact, Brother Matthew was fully supportive of my decision to leave the Brethren for a while, telling me to not come back, in his joking way. So, sorry for my brief update, but my eyes are hurting as they are not used to being near technology for long spans of time. Not that I was living in a dark room, or anything. Actually the opposite: I was too busy helping the community and having fun to use technology. Right, I’m away to sit in a dark room. Not because that’s what I’m used to, but because… Goodnight.
